WHAT IS THE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL SLC?
For over 50 years, Ralphael Plescia dedicated his life to making art and studying obscure passages from the Bible, extracting images and interpretations that he describes as forgotten stories, especially referencing religious figures such as Heavenly Mother, Eve, and Revelations 12. In the process, he completely transformed a pair of unassuming empty buildings into a walk-in sculpture garden and museum bursting with immersive multimedia artwork. This incredible labyrinth of religious artwork was coined by Ralphael as "The Christian School".
In the wake of Ralphael's passing in August 2022, Ralphael's daughter, artist Neena Plant-Henninger, is leading efforts to preserve the expansive sculptures and artwork held within The Christian School Building. Due to long-standing leasing complications, The Christian School is set to be demolished in Summer 2023. This website aims to act as a digital archive of the building and artwork in their original state. A secondary location to house the work and act as a museum dedicated to Ralphael's life and art is in the works, and be enacted only with your generous donations.
Thanks to the enthusiastic support from our community regarding building tours. Unfortunately, both public and private tours are now closed. By June 30th, we will no longer have access to the building, and our team of volunteers will be working in the meantime to carefully save and document as much artwork as possible so it can be enjoyed further by the public.
This is not the end --- more opportunities to view Ralphael's work are on their way while the artwork awaits its next chapter, including a 3-D scan and virtual building tour, in-depth photos and videos, audio accounts from Ralph and his loved ones, and more! Join our mailing list below to stay in touch, and consider making a donation to our preservation efforts.
It is through our collective community efforts that Ralphael's legacy and the magic of the Christian School can live on, regardless of location. Thank you again for your patience and support!

HOW CAN I HELP?
Following the passing of Ralphael Plescia in August 2022, the fate of The Christian School and the works therein has been in flux. And while a small group of volunteers is working alongside Ralphael's daughter, Neena Plant-Henninger, to preserve and rehome the artwork located inside the building, we simply can't do it on our own.
Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated, and will go directly to Ralphael's family as preservation attempts are made.
